UNBELIEVABLE: One Fact You Don't Know About Tottenham's Dele Alli

Tottenham Hotspur's sensation Dele Alli was born on April 11, 1996 has been in sensational form this season bagging 11 goals in the Premier League including a brace against Chelsea.















He started his club career at Milton Keynes Dons (MK Dons) where he managed 24 goals in 88 total appearances for the club.

But there is actually one fact you do not know about this promising youngster.


Dele was born and raised in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, to a Yoruba Nigerian father Kenny and English mother Denise. Kenny moved to the United States a week after Dele's birth. Hence, he was brought up by bis mother who had alcohol problems before he was raised by adopted parents at the age of 13.

Awkwardly, Dele's mum is 7 years older than Dele's dad.

Enough of stories:::

Dele Alli's full name is Bamidele Jermaine "DeleAlli with Bamidele a very common native Yoruba name of Nigerians. "Dele" is merely for short.

However, Alli has made several appearances at U17 and U18 levels for England.

Reports given in February 2015 stated that  John Fashanu would try to convince Alli to play for Nigeria. 

Any hopes of this sensational talent however representing Nigeria was dashed however, on 1 October, 2015 he was included in England's squad for the final UEFA Euro 2016 Qualifying matches against Estonia and Lithuania. He made his debut against Lithuania on 9 October, coming on as a late substitute for Ross Barkley in a 2–0 win.

On 17 November 2015, Alli made his first start for the England senior team, scoring the opening goal from a long range shot to beat Spurs teammate, goalkeeper Hugo Lloris in a 2–0 win against France at Wembley StadiumHe was again named in the starting line-up for England's friendly match against world champions Germany on 26 March 2016. Alli was named man of the match by the BBC as England recovered from 0–2 down to win 3–2 at the Berlin Olympiastadion.















He's also played in a major official tournament for England since he played at the UEFA Euro 2016.

Hence, any hopes of Dele Alli representing Nigeria is all but over.

Might not be a new revelation, but definitely, many, especially Nigerians aren't aware of this.
