Reports REVEALS If Diego Costa Is Interested in China Move

Spanish striker Costa was dropped for the Premier League leaders' trip to Leicester in Saturday's late game where Chelsea emerged as 3-0 winners after a row with one of his coaching staff, Julio Tous.

The in-form striker has however been speculated to leave for China after the row with the coach, reports from sources however have revealed whether or not he has any interest in the China move.

The 28-year-old has been in stunning form so far with 14 goals and manager Antonio Conte's man-management has been praised for getting the best out of the player.

But the relationship has fallen apart after Costa's representatives told their player of the incredible offer from China - believed to be worth an astonishing £570,000-a-week - and he argued with coach Tous.

Chelsea fear the hot-headed striker's head has been turned by the opportunity to earn huge sums of money in the Chinese Super League.

He has not trained with the main squad for nearly a week following the bust-up which has thrown his Stamford Bridge future into doubt.

And his agent Jorge Mendes was pictured with the president of Chinese club Tianjin Quanjian.

However, reports states that the Chelsea striker has no interest in leaving Chelsea for the lucrative China offer.

Brazilian ESPN journalist Joao Castelo-Branco, who works in London, claims to have the inside track on Costa's situation and says he is not interested in a move to China at this stage of his career.

He wrote on Twitter: "Exclusive: Costa said he has no interest in China at the moment."

Chelsea declined to comment on the matter on Friday, but a photograph posted on Costa's official Instagram account was accompanied by the caption "Come on Chelsea!"

Costa's contract runs until June 2019 and while Chelsea were reportedly keen to tie down their star striker to an extension prior to the recent dispute, there is a determination among the club hierarchy to hold him to the remainder of his deal.

Hazard was used in his place as the central striker in the triumph over Leicester City and could continue pending the time an agreement is reached between Costa and the Head coach.
